The polar jet is losing sting over the southeast and is taking the coldest air with it across the Tasman Sea. The northern jet is sending high cloud over WA and is helping develop a surface trough on the west coast.

A broad trough through the northern interior will trigger showers and storms. A high east of Tasmania will direct cool, showery winds over the east coast. The high will send warmer northeasterlies into the southeast. Hot northerly winds in WA ahead of a late cool, showery change.

A high will drive cool showery winds over the east coast, whist helping keep the southeastern inland dry. Troughs across the interior and tropics should trigger storms. Warm to hot winds over the interior and southwest ahead of a weakening cool change in WA.

A high will keep much of the southeast dry and warm, whilst directing showery winds over the east coast, north of Sydney. A trough in the west will generate showers and thunderstorms, some heavy. A weak cold front will approach the southwest, causing isolated showers or storms.

A high over NSW will keep skies mostly clear and dry whilst directing showers along the eastern QLD coast. A trough will trigger showers and storms over central and eastern WA, while a front causes cold southerly winds along the southern coast, with some heavy falls.

A high over the east will keep NSW clear and dry whilst directing showery easterly winds along the QLD east coast. A trough will move into SA and VIC, with hot northerly winds ahead of it. The trough will trigger showers and storms over WA. A front will clip TAS, causing showers.

A near-stationary high will keep NSW and inland QLD dry and clear, with showery winds along the east QLD coast. A trough will bring a cool showery change to southern SA and thunderstorms to inland WA. The tail end of a cold front will cause morning showers over southern VIC.
