Friday 22:00 EDT

A trough stretching through QLD, NSW and eastern VIC should weaken, allowing rain and storm activity to ease. A front and trough should bring a cooler change to southwest WA as a low generates rain in the region. The monsoon trough will trigger scattered storms in the tropics.

Saturday 22:00 EDT
Saturday 22:00 EDT

A front and trough should spread a cooler, showery and windy change through southern Australia. Another trough may trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms in NSW and QLD. A developing low may generate heavy rain over the northeast tropics.
